1 Out of 100 follows the journey of Elijah, an ex-convict and skilled martial artist who is released early from prison to work at a martial arts dojo where he continues to battle against the consequences from his past. At the dojo, Elijah works alongside a 16-year old, Joseph “JoJo” Coley, an exceptionally talented and disciplined martial artist who is facing the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, bullying, and the risk of foreclosure on the dojo he and so many others call home. Elijah and JoJo continue to work together to overcome adversity of the challenges life has thrown their way.
