Be Wise As Serpents!
The phrase "Be wise as serpents" is actually from the Bible. And this DVD is actually one of the very best I've seen on any of the Snake styles! The style itself has three main snake hands with different functions, Cobra, Python and Snake. It sounds reminiscent of Bando's three snake styles, Cobra, Python and Viper but here three approaches are included in the same form! This is one of the more realistic Snake styles out there, definitely not Sport Wushu. The teacher does more than merely show the form, he in fact discusses it and gives helpful tips all the way through! Tips like how to modify the form as you age while staying true to it's principles etc. This man is a very good teacher. Also included are applications showing the less seen locking and takedown aspects of this style. Great stuff here, people! Now if I could only locate the Tiger style DVD in this series!
